From Michele: The process of creating art is healing and life-enhancing.  My images often develop from within and in relation to my experience in hearing individual life stories of pain and one's subsequent journey towards hope, healing, and understanding.


From Angela:   My art is created specifically from things that I love.  In composing a painting, I find it extremely rewarding to be able to re-create a realistic image taken from life.  My work is done mostly in colored pencil and since it is such a time-consuming medium, it forces me to take my time and slow myself down.  Not only am I creating something that is such an integral part of who I am, the process of completing the actual painting is, in my opinion, soothing.
